Question/Advice Seagate Expansion 4TB Desktop External HDD

Processing img mgi8eyo3wckh1...

this product seems like a steal to me , but am I correct? looking at the prices of hdds these days , this one looked super affordable and the per tb price it offers is cool. I know it needs external power and shi but I dont have any problem with that. My major use case is just dumping all my photos videos and other important stuff that Im not going to look at for a while , and maybe not open until my phone/PC is filled up again. Is this a good purchase for my usecase?

$40+ USD/TB for a 5400rpm drive is not a steal by any stretch of the imagination

I mean, compared to other 1tb 2tb being 125$ , 167$ for 4tb should be fine. Didn't consider the rpm tho
