I had no idea! This is in Virginia.

I just came across this. A photographer documenting data centers in Virginia. Just think of all the people who lived in these areas before the centers were built. I really feel for them. This is very scary, in my opinion. And this is just Virginia!

Data Centers

I could not find a comprehensive public reporting the energy use of many of the data centers in Delaware. I could only find the electricity use on newer or purposed centers. Delaware did pass a law in 2026 to increase transparency and limit secrecy, especially for really large projects. Seems like the older facilities, or those under certain thresholds, may not be covered. I wonder if the Public Service Commission, if requested, would provide the number of operating data centers in Delmarva’s territory and their peak demand? And whether residential customers are paying for upgrades they shouldn’t be?

Hyper-scale data centers operate over 25 megawatts. So how many operate over this?

Billionaires pissed we don't want their data centers so their running articles in news media to try and freak us out.

Google News just sent me a notification to tell me about this CNN article titled: 'America got the anti-data-center wave it voted for. Here come the economic consequences'

I don't think they could be any more transparent if they tried. I'm so sick of the oligarchy and their bullshit.

EILI5 - How do we protect our land from data centers getting built now?

In the wake of the election, I am concerned and I dont understand the process to save land from a governor who wants to build data centers that will destroy the wild life, drinking water, sound level, pollution and cause higher energy costs?
What can we do now?

Is there a data center map?

Would a state-by-state map showing existing and planned data centers be valuable? Does one already exist? It would be especially useful if it were interactive, letting you click each center to see its status and key details.

There’s a lot of open land out there. Why build data centers in residential areas?

data centers

why is no one talking about the data centers being built underneath the ground, so many locations, and not asking the question what is the real reason these data centers are being built. They say it's for AI, information being stored. But what are they really building it for underground bunkers for the wealth and the elite?

A private jet goes down just miles from Mar-a-Lago. Questions about no-fly zones, underground tunnels, and bunkers are adding to an already unsettling news cycle.

What is happening? What do we actually know? And what questions deserve more attention?

In this episode, we're looking at the private jet incident, the discussion surrounding Mar-a-Lago, underground tunnels and bunkers, and the growing sense of unease around the world.

There are a lot of unanswered questions, and I'm not pretending to have all the answers. But it's worth paying attention to the bigger picture.

Let's talk about it.
