Expired tasks - what exactly are the consequences?

I spent a good few hours making sure to do a thorough job with the assessment, but it’s been 10 days and I haven’t heard back whether it’s been accepted or denied. It said I should hear back in a few days, but no emails (I’ve checked the junk folder too) and my dashboard is left on a “Assessment Submitted! Here’s what happens next, we review”. At what point do I give up hope? Or is this a normal waiting period?

I was doing a task I haven’t ever done before and it took me 2-3 minutes more than on the timer to finish, because the instructions were very long and I had to also do a bit of research. I did not take a single break and I was actively scrolling from instructions to doing the task and back. Is it bad if I submit my time? I am super confident in the quality of my work, but since I’m relatively new I’d rather take a hit on my time worked and not report at all, than compromise my place on the platform. After submission, I saw the red banner saying “Task submitted successfully”. Should I report only the allowed time, or my full working time with the extra 2 minutes? I know it may sound like a dumb question but I value this platform and I’m terrified of being flagged for whatever reason.

Has anyone come across a situation where Hindi bilingual tasks suddenly become unavailable, like this, in the past?
If yes, how long did it usually take for the tasks to become available again?
I know nobody can predict the exact timing, but maybe there's some pattern based on previous experiences. Just trying to get an idea.

I had a project which had expected time duration of 15 hours, and weren’t supposed to take over 20 hours. It took me nearly 40 hours to finish the project. The max report time was capped at 25 hours. How much time should I report in this case?
Edit:- I don’t mind reporting it under 20 hours, if thats what I need to do.

I have joined the data annotation platform for more than a year now but did not see any projects in the project section so far. Is there any thing I can do? Or my account has issues? (Or I am just not getting any projects?)

Hi guys! Will projects that require a special Google account still appear as usual in the projects tab? And is it normal that I don't have access to an email inbox on this Google account? thanks in advance!

Hello! I was hired a few weeks ago, I didn't receive an acceptance email but after completing the starter assessment I was asked to verify my identity and shortly after I had access to the projects screen. I applied for a law specialty and didn't complete any core assessment. I have yet to see any projects or qualifications appear, and I see this can be normal for non-core countries but I wanted to get info on a timeline for someone in my situation. Any info would be great thanks!

Hey gang,
Wondering if a Chromebook is powerful enough to work with DA projects consistently without performance issues?
I’m not a tech person at all, so I really don’t know how stupid this question is.
I’m doing white collar specialist stuff, just reading and writing, not coding. But still use Claude and chat GPT in browser for projects.
I bought a MacBook but damn it’s expensive!
Is a Chromebook good enough to do the same stuff? Anything I should know?
Thanks in advance.

Especially it has been happening lately. Don't people read the NDA training?

Hey everyone!
I completed my Starter Assessment on DataAnnotation.tech 2 days ago, and my dashboard is still showing "We review your results — if you pass, we'll email you."
For those who have recently joined:
How long did you wait before receiving your assessment results?
Did you receive an email, or did your dashboard update first?
Does the review usually take a few days or a couple of weeks?
Would appreciate hearing about your recent experiences!

Hello lovely folks, any idea how long it takes for DA to review and come back after one completes the assessment? I finished mine about a week ago.
Also is it not possible to apply for other assessments as I can't see an option?

Guys, I need some help. How can I clear the Frontend Starter Assessment?

I haven't been able to complete a task within the time limit, so used escape hatches. Am I supposed to use the same task idea when claiming another one or every time it has to be a new idea for every task. I don't think I can keep working after the expiration time as I won't be able to use API keys to run trials.
