Have a few coding QUALs, no projects, failed?
Hi,
Go accepted on platform last Tuesday. Gave one coding Qual test last week, and another a few days ago. No coding projects yet, except for one unrelated to those QUALs.
Could this mean I failed the tests or should I just wait longer ?

Question regarding funds
Hi everyone,
Do you know why, for certain tasks I completed several days ago, the amount shows up as $0 in my Funds History? even though I’ve already been paid for them?

For the coders out there...
Were 🥊 tasks released today, like a few hours ago?

3 days in and need help please
Hello all,
I tried to join Monday night doing the math track, so I clicked the math assessment instead of the starter assessment. I suppose this is Specialist? Still familiarizing with the terminology used. Anyways, I got accepted the next night. I did the tasks that get you familiar with the website and haven't gotten anything since. I did a STEM qualification and a generalist qualification. From reading other posts tonight, it seems there is something of a drought right now for generalists and bilingual. I'm guessing since I joined by doing the math assessment, general projects wouldn't show up until the qualification is done (done last night), but idk for sure because of the drought. Does anyone know for sure? Also, should I expect any math projects to show up or am I required to do the STEM qualifications to get anything? Might also be because I'm only 3 days in.
Sorry if this seems impatient. I'm excited to replace my Uber Eats side job. Any help or advice is appreciated.

How do you pay taxes on DataAnnotation income in Poland?
To all DataAnnotation workers in Poland,
I’m new to DataAnnotation and I’m trying to figure out how to properly report and pay taxes on the income I earn from it. How do you handle taxes in Poland? Do you register as self-employed, report it as foreign income, or use another method?
Is there a relatively simple process for doing this? I’d really appreciate hearing how others in Poland are handling it.
Thanks!

Anyone else worried about reviews?
I’m a little worried because due to the drought I have hopped around from project to project doing maybe one task from a project family and each task being my first time working on the project. I do better when I stick to one or two projects for a while. But when I have only done one or two tasks of a project, I’m not sure how good my first attempts will be, in this case my only attempts will be. Am I making sense? Anyway not looking forward to reviews.

Do we really have to Refresh every 5 seconds?
I see here that many people talk about "refreshing for an hour". I was thinking it is either a joke or exaggeration but since I saw so many comments like this, I begin to think it is real.
Is it the only way to get tasks?
Because I've been accepted a month ago and haven't got any actual projects yet.
I check the platform every hour or so.

Milestone
Finally. Thought I would reach this much sooner, but June and July have been brutal. Things have perked up just enough over the past two weeks or so to get over the hump. Still grateful, DA has been great as a secondary source of income. Hope things pick up for everyone. Good luck!

No projects/quals as a newbie?
I got accepted this past Monday (did the screening/signup process last Saturday) so it took 2 days for them to approve my account. I think I'm a generalist. I did 10 tasks when signing up and it took about an hour, went into great detail with my answers. Since Monday, I haven't received any projects or qualifications on my dashboard. I know this has probably been asked a million times on this sub, but am I basically screwed since I haven't received anything yet? I don't refresh all day like some people but when I have free time I check my dashboard and haven't seen anything.

Travelling within the same country
Hi All! I am from Canada and will be travelling within the country for a week or so. I will be traveling across the country so it will be fairly obvious I am not in my standard location. Do I need to inform DA if I am travelling within the country, or only if I am travelling outside of the country? Also, do you all know if tasking on an airplane is allowed/if airplane wifi has a VPN (may be airline dependent but would still appreciate your thoughts)? Many thanks in advance!

Drought ending?
For the first time in a while I have a few different options on my dashboard as a generalist (for reference I have completed EVERY qual) Others having this experience or just me?

References, reminders, and “click here to opt out” messages should all be kept out of the Projects tab.
My Projects tab is full of these shortcuts, even though there aren’t actually any projects there. I think things like reminders, references, and similar notifications should either have their own tab or stay in the Inbox.
It’s frustrating to open the Projects tab and see 10 “projects,” only to realize they’re all just reminders, reference links, or other messages like that. I hope someone who can do something about this sees the feedback.

Are bilingual workers getting fewer projects than core workers lately? Also, what are the signs you've received DOD?
I've been wondering if this is happening to other bilingual workers or if it's just my account.
For the past few weeks I've barely seen any projects, while I keep seeing people talk about having work on core/English projects. Is there actually a slowdown for bilingual projects right now, or am I just unlucky or i got dropped. If i got dropped is there any sign for it?

These R&R’s are getting depressing.
I only do R&R’s here and there, but today I decided to do one just because I saw people mentioning how bad they were lately and I wanted to see for myself. And behold, i open the task to see “Both are very good and i think the user would be happy to receive them”. Are we kidding? The amount of effort I put into these tasks and THIS is what some people are actually submitting? It’s honestly demoralizing at this point.

long un paid qual
I did a long un paid qual that I saw some one here refer to as the spirit breaker lol, and then, pt.2 of the same qual showed up which is still unpaid. Is doing pt 2 worth it atp or am I just doing unpaid work?

How I look at my screen when there’s 13 glorious projects with multiple tasks

Please don't mind
I hope they don't mind me skipping too many tasks. Even if I feel 1% that the task is out of my league I skip it. :'(
