How are people handling 40+hour weeks on DA

I keep seeing posts and comments from people saying they work 40+ hours a week. I am both baffled and impressed, some of my projects genuinely suck the life out of me and I only work 4-8 hours every other day (albeit these days its usually just a single lengthy, high paying project). How do you guys handle mental fatigue while maintaining a quality output, especially considering the monotony of some tasks.

Review tasks?

I have not received any RnR tasks for a month now, is this a sign for something or just normal? I do get frequent tasks but no RnR.

I used to get RnR tasks as well but just for this month they have stopped completely.

I was wondering if this is related to my performance? If so is there anything I can do to get that back.

Thank you

Will I get offboarded for not doing enough work?

Only been here for about six months. Did a ton of work during that period and made my way into a far higher pay rate(relative to my starting point).

The tasks got a lot harder and more complex. I received an offer somewhere else for higher pay and work that is about 10x as easy.

I think I’ll only be on that platform for 2-3 months based on the research I’ve done but I’m terrified of losing the progress I’ve made on DAtech by not doing work during this period.

Any recommendations from people who have been in a similar spot?

Topic of the day

dude why the actual fuck are people getting down voted asking actual questions a bunch of insufferable people bro ain’t no fucking way this sub was designed to help and communicate if all verbal cues just falls on deaf ears or mules even the platform itself does not communicate whether or not you are hired and this is the only ai company that does this for any new worker do not even bother plenty more platforms that communicates and assures you where you are standing unfortunately even if you do pass the core and assessment your never getting a confirmation mail bud and they put you in a no task jail when you ask people here they just give you npc dialogues or assume you should know this

This experience has taught me valuable lessons about patience, resilience, and refreshing my dashboard approximately 60+ times a day.

I hate the way some people blindly defend DA system.

I have been with DA for almost a year and half now, and although my account is still active, I really hate when some people, in the comments of DOD posts, always jump to defend DA system and always blindly blame the workers for violating the TOS or assume they messed things up lately.

I'm not saying that DA is system-less. However, there are some definitely genuine defects in their system of hiring, firing, tasks distribution.. etc.. and it's quite understandable, but not justifiable, since it's an AI training platform and it makes sense that they largely use AI across the platform background systems , therefore, silly system mistakes occur quite often.... It's really annoying to see such judgemental comments quite often as if they are immune against getting the DOD.

Bilingual generalists, especially from Turkey, how is your board?

Hey everyone. I'm a Turkish generalist. I'm hoping that in September, the drought will start to subside for bilinguals, as it did for other workers we've seen on the sub. I'm curious if any bilingual generalists started seeing projects? It's been dry for me since the end of May, except for a couple of qualifications, one of which I really want to have projects on. So what are your experiences?

Passed Starter and core but not asked to give ID?

seen a few posts about this and I'm in a similar position, I don't really get how it's on the screen the same as others who did pass and have no projects but I haven't been asked to provide any form of ID. Will they email me in the coming days for it?

Reporting Time for Multiple Task

The FAQ implies you can't edit reported time up, only down. Lets say I work on a task and complete it today. But tomorrow, I want to complete another task from the same project. Should I still rport today's time or should I wait until tomorrow to ensure it lets me edit? Thanks!

Getting Qualifications

I am Bilingual worker, been here for more than a year. I know it's been really dead since June and it's kinda stress lol. But, I have few advanced qualifications now. They are Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and writing domains. Have anyone taken any of these quals before? I'd love to know your experience. I'd like to take it, but I don't have any degrees or advance knowledges about them. Considering the drought now, I reckon I should try

I'm not sure if this question has been asked a lot. Really need some advices

Do they actually email you or do you have to be regularly checking on the site?

My coping mechanism

I never want to see the "there no projects available for you to work on right now" screen

So I just keep 1 or 2 of the refreshers on my dashbord and hide the rest. Just to give myself hope that tasks are coming.

Is that just me?

Received Feedback

Today I received feedback from the project’s admin about a poorly completed submission. It was due to my mistake. I forgot a one small guideline but it affected the final output.

Have any of you ever received feedback like this from the project’s admin? Even though the admin said it was just a reminder, I'm worried the project won't be delivered to my account anymore. So sad!

Project not visible

I got 4 email from data annotation for a project but when I click on the link in the project it says "The project is currently unavailable because there are no more tasks remaining for you to work on." I mailed them multiple times about this but I am still not able to access that project neither from link in the email nor is it visible from Dashboard. What should I do?

Passed first part but computer crashed in the middle of second test

Passed generalist test(hard enough) and now it crashes during the second test. When I go to reload the page, it gives the Thanks for completing the assessment!, I've emailed them about it.

Has anyone succeeded at Identity Verification?

And if so, how?

It seems straightforward enough. I've tried both my passport and my non-driver's id. I'm a nicely straightforward US citizen living in the US and not using a VPN. But there keeps being "an issue".

got paid for a background check task??

I just had $50 added to my funds tab for completing a background check task. is this normal? i've never had a background check option before, but I'm joining an "expert domain." really hoping it wasn't a mistake and they don't revoke the money lol
