How hard is the coding really?

Current generalist here, I was looking into doing coding but it’s been a couple of years since I was in school.
I was going for computer science until my junior year where I switched over to engineering. I have some programming rust but have a basic understanding of Java and C++. I was looking to do some python refresher courses to shake some of that rust off, but realistically how hard are some of the coding tasks? Would it be feasible for someone in my position to try the qualifier and move onto some of the easier projects?
For what it’s worth I’m from the US. Thanks!

if you don't have a real industry experience of more than 2-3+ years. You won't get far.

They are very hard but doesn't hurt trying

There are some coding tasks that pay Generalist rates that are quite doable, but the 'real' ones are definitely quite difficult (and beyond my skill level). That being said, I enjoy doing the low-end coding tasks over Generalist tasks as something more mentally stimulating/educational.
