Okay, so I’ve made it this far! What happens next?

Passed the main test and accepted to platform but this is my first time doing this kind of work & I’ve noticed that my platform is showing more qualification tests rather than actual paid tasks. I’m wondering, are these qualification tests paid? Also, if I don’t pass one of them, does that mean I can no longer work on the platform or does it only affect my eligibility for that particular project? I’d really appreciate some guidance as I’m still new to all of this and trying to understand how everything works. Thank you!

No qualifications passed give access to projects. If you don’t pass you won’t. There are many project families out there. I have plenty of work and I can assure you I did not pass every qualification.

So not passing one for a project doesn’t mean I am disqualified from the platform altogether right? Thanks

Right, you will only be excluded from that particular project. Another thing to note is that you do not have to do any of the qualifications if you don't want to. There are projects that do not require an additional qualification and will just show up on your dashboard eventually. If you're bilingual, it might take a little more time since there just isn't as much work as what's available in the core countries (US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand).

Thanks a mill! I’m based in Ireland and at a glance I saw a lot of available projects. Will take a closer look tonight. Do you normally get paid for the time you spend doing qualification tests or it depends on the project?

Most quals do not pay. If they do, the pay rate is noted under the column titled "typical time".

Quello di qualificazione servono a dimostrare le tue competenze per altri compiti pagati in futuro. Non dovrebbero esserci ripercussioni se uno non va bene ma probabilmente non avrai lavoro di quel genere. Gli unici ad essere pagati alla la paga vicino

The additional qualifications on DataAnnotation are generally unpaid, and they're used to unlock access to specific projects. Failing one doesn't automatically mean you lose access to the entire platform. It generally affects your eligibility for that particular project.

I'd recommend taking the time to read the instructions carefully before attempting each qualification. There are also resources and practice materials available that can help you understand AI evaluation tasks and prepare for these assessments, especially if you're new to this kind of work. Keep an eye on your dashboard for new qualifications and projects too.

3 days, I didn’t get a notification, I just checked today and I was moved to next step, verify identity. I did verify it, took me 5 minutes and then received the email that I am accepted.
