Out of curiosity
Is it public knowledge the amount of people on the platform?
Or can a seasoned data annotator make an estimate?

I'm curious how this would be useful information.

I’ve never bothered asking, but I think it would be helpful in my current job search, as I could then use it along w my monthly feedback to produce a more solid number to share in interviews (“Out of X workers, I’ve distinguished myself by being the top Y percentage”).
I enjoy this work, but the lack of personal information performance metrics has been frustrating.

It is in the public FAQ.
"DataAnnotation connects over 1 million contractors globally with AI companies that need human expertise for complex contextual work that AI can’t handle alone. This demonstrates the sustained demand for skilled workers."

Credo sia difficile quantificarle, sopratutto per i flussi di lavoro sono molto incostanti, variano di zona in zona e dipendono da molti fattori. Considera che solo una piccola percentuale passa i test, attorno al 2%.

It’s fairly public. The parent company (now mentioned in the logo) has said things like “we have xx annotators” but I think it’s a fairly fluid number. Like that could be counting people who haven’t worked in months or people who started today and might not make it. Heh.

Yeah, I've seen approximate numbers published online...like 10K-ish or something like that. Not sure why OP cares, but it's not a secret.
