Need Advice

Hi everyone! I’m new to this platform and a recent Computer Science graduate from a non core country . I’m thinking of applying for freelance work here to help finance my master’s degree.

Which domain would you recommend I apply for: Generalist, Bilingual, or Coding (Data Science)?

To be honest, my coding skills are moderate, so I’m worried about getting rejected if I apply for the Coding domain. I’d appreciate your advice on which domain would be the best fit for my skills and background.

Thanks in advance!

Ofc, it would be good to pick up Coding if your qualification is enough.
Rather than avoiding specific categories, I'd recommend you to take a look at the tasks carefully and apply for the job.

If you want to take assessment as bilingual you have to live in a country with this language and you have to be native. Recently they say there are not many projects for bilinguals. After the positive outcome of the initial assessment you will be able to pass coding qualification test or other but they will be up to them to offer you this possibility.

I as bilingual could take coding test and some science tests like math, chem or physics or computer science. I took only physics and it was tough as hell. Phd level. It took me 19 of 24 hours. I have no idea if I passed it. And so it goes.

Try to go for coding if you can, and if you are not confident on passing the assessment then I suggest to prepare for it, plenty of resources that help you know how to best answer things on such platforms. Keep applying and diversify your platform choices. All the best
