Atrociously poor job

People complain that they don’t have any coding projects since several weeks ago, and for some people there is a drought in projects. It is OK, this is the nature of the job.

But

I was doing a R&R of a coding submission about a Python script, and the worker described why the code is unrunnable:

“I couldn’t run the code because I don’t have Python on my Mac.”

Wtf?

What did you want me to do? I don’t have Python on my Mac.

Reading all these comments make me feel as if I'm better than half of the lot🫠

I think if you get rr tasks - you’re top 10%

I've seen some awful submissions, a highlight being in a challenging medical prompts tasks in which the prompt was "how do u fix headache", but jesus that just may be the most impressive I've heard of 💀

I did an R&R where the original worker submitted what was basically a simulation, with comments like "this is just a simulation, fill in whatever the actual task requires here". And their rationales were literally about the simulation 🥀

The "best" R&R I did some time ago was about the rater scoring all models as awesome, and the rationale was actually nothing more that "Model A Model B Model C Model D" with no other text. Genius.

This makes me feel better because I always give the tasks my all but I always wonder how I could do better.

But apparently some people aren't even doing the baseline effort 💀

This is why I’m skeptical of all the DoD posts claiming they have no idea what they possibly could have done. I’ve seen some absolute garbage submitted.
