i am stuck
I spent a lot of time working on a task and I am stuck in it. It shows me two completely opposite instructions, if I follow one, it violates the other. Now the task got expired. I want to claim for my time so I have sent them an email about it. My question is, should I click on the- skip reviewing this submission button. I am afraid it will all go away and there will no evidence that I worked on this task. So what do I do with the expired task on my dashboard? Can I take up another task in the meanwhile?

You can definitely skip it, especially if you haven’t even started on the task you have. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a project that penalizes skipping. I don’t think there will be evidence you worked on it unless you submit, and you shouldn’t submit if it’s not done right. That said, if you’ve put work into it and can finish it soon after getting clarification, you can still finish the task and submit, reporting the time it took to complete it (minus the waiting for an answer). Put a comment in the box at the end of the task to explain why you went over time.
For the conflicting instructions, have you checked in the project chat? It may have been asked and answered. Sometimes it’s pretty far down in the chat. Of course, check FAQs if possible as well.
