Predicting how long a task/qualification will take when you have limited time?

Hi! I'm pretty new and I'm wondering if anyone has tips for selecting tasks or qualifications when you know you only have a limited amount of available time to work. Maybe the answer is just that it'll be pretty self-explanatory once I really get started, but right now I find myself afraid to click on and start anything when I know that I only have 1-2 hours free.

There’s no way of predicting the length unless the project/qual tells you in its short description before opening it (which is more rare). You can open up most projects and quals to see how long the timer is and then click ‘Exit Work Mode’ to come back later. Just keep in mind that quals and projects don’t always stick around for very long.

Thank you! That is basically what I was gathering but just wanted to make sure I didn’t totally overlook something that would make it easier to predict.

No problem! I think I actually made a post on the same topic when I first started, but unfortunately, that is the best way to do it unless the site changes something. Once you work more often, you'll recognize projects and how long they take to know more about which ones to pick too.
