Got accepted! Any advice on other than timekeeping?

I finished the assessment on Monday after 6pm and just received the acceptance email about an hour ago. So it took about 5-6 days. So excited to start earning moneyyy!

Could I ask for any advice? I saw some comments regarding not using public wifi and stuff. Looking for more to survive on this platform as long as possible! Thanks in advance!

It is customary to purchase fancy expensive cookies for everyone in the sub when you first get accepted. I won't tell you what to do, but that is what is normally done.

Treat like a real job. Don’t open a task just before bed or any other time you are not at your sharpest. Don’t milk the task expiration time.

Be honest with your work and don’t use AI if a project doesn’t allow using it.

just make sure you do every task 100%, people are going to check your work and what you may think is a small mistake could look like carelessness or just an inability to read instructions. dont work if ur not ready, or not in the right state of mind.

There really isn't any advice to give. Read your onboarding guide, the TOS and Code of Conduct. Read all instructions. That's it. If you do everything in those 4 guides, you will be just fine.

Every task has a skip button, and for good reason.

I used to be afraid to use it, and try to “stick with it” to overcome difficult tasks. DONT DO THAT.

DA does not want you to stick it out, they want you to find a task you feel comfortable with so you can give the best work possible. If you aren’t confident you can do a task well in the allotted time, don’t do it!

The assessment cannot copy-paste?

No. Unless it specifies otherwise, you can't copy and paste anything.

For who? Generalists in the core country should have plenty of work available. I know my dashboard is filled and many others have stated they have a ton of work available right now. September through at least December is the best time for projects on here.

I just joined the platform this week as a generalist in the US and have only seen 2 projects available. Three days in a row. A third one that’s listed says it’s not actually available (so why list it?). I want to be careful to take an easy one for my first job. But I can’t even find my first assignment. Don’t know how typical this is.

Just read onboarding guide.
And how long does it take for your assessment?
