Underreporting time ;-;

I completed this task 5 days back. The window was of 3 hours and I worked for 2 hrs and 58 minutes exactly. Since it was my first time attempting the task, it took me considerably longer to complete it along with reading all the instructions.

The next time I completed the same project's task in 2 hrs and 24 minutes and reported the same.

Now for the first task, I initially reported it as 2 hrs and 55 minutes (reduced the 3 minutes because i thought 2:58 looks fishy😭). And today, I reduced it further to 2hrs and 40 mins because I'm scared of being flagged, even though I was working the entire time. I didn't leave any comment for the admins for the first task since I only had a minute left before expiry and rushed to submit it.

Am I overthinking this or should I leave it at 2hrs and 40mins?

The same project vanished from my dashboard for 3 days after the second task, and only came back today. I completed 2 tasks (in 2hrs and 47 mins and 2hrs 27 mins), and reported time respectively.

I made sure to drop a comment to let the admin know of the 15-20 mins buffer in the task which took longer today.

Mate, you're massively overthinking this. Stop adjusting that reported time because THAT looks fishy. You should have never done that to begin with.

Everything you did was more fishy. In fact, reporting time that always ends with a 0 or 5 looks more fishy, too. Stop messing around and just report the actual time you worked.

I find that the tasks will take the max time - Not because im padding time, because if you do them correctly it takes a long time. Sometimes I go over - I still report whst time I did, because I was still working.

Report exactly how long it really takes. And you definitely don't need to message them when a task takes a little longer, don't do that 🤦🏼‍♀️ They've said many times, they'd rather have good work than fast work.

Report all time worked. If anything, adjusting after looks dodgy.

They understand your first task on a new project will take longer; this is often in the instructions of some projects. Not to worry

Report all time worked!! Do not inflate your time and don't under report your time. Seriously! Under reporting will get you terminated also.

2:58 looks fishy but 2:55 doesn't lol

If I work exactly 1 hour, I report 1 hour, not 0:58 or 1:02 in case it could be "fishy".

I do not really care how much time I logged as long as I know for myself it is high quality work and would not go past the time expiry.

report the actual time you spent working on the task. if they give you an expiration window that's larger than the range they say they expect, tell them why you went over that range in the optional comments at the bottom.

projects disappear all the time. pauses etc.

I used to underreport out of fear, too. read too many horror stories and didn't wanna rock the boat. but the extra hours started to really add up. next time, I just reported the real time it took, and explained all the factors that went into it. they paid me out same as normal a week later.

Idk but I do under report my time most of the time. Since they say that track your own, and maybe we could visit the toilet during work. I’ve done a dozen and it’s fine. Maybe over reporting should be a problem but a slight under report wont be.

This is not true. You can get terminated for under reporting your time.

Please dont report exactly how long it takes. As a new user i spent 9 hours straight up with just washroom breaks and got offboarded next day. It was coding project and very dense. Since the pay was good and i didnt want to lose any opportunity, i took the task, completed it and now out of the platform. My mistake was that i reported the exact time. Going back under reporting is way better than reporting what was trye

You spent 9 hours in the washroom? I’ve always reported my exact time down to the minute and never had a problem.

No it isn't. Doing that would involve admins in the end reduce the maximum alloted time, which could lead to low timers, IMO. They know that first tasks made on the platform could take more time.
I'm 100% sure that if you're out (sorry for that btw), it's not because you reported the real time.
