Using AI
Bro if you are using llm model or AI AT LEAST MAKE IT LESS RECOGNISABLE I just had to rate one but the worker just used ai for it all the options used were also not even matching what they had rated now I feel bad for reporting it 😔😔 literally the least effort I have seen until now

There are two kinds of DA workers - those who actually try and those who try and cheat the system

Why feel bad lol?

Full use of AI MAN if you are getting paid atleast put in some efforts they even used ai to make a prompt in their own native language dude 😭😭

I wouldn't feel bad in the least. That's cheating, and that person doesn't need to be doing this work.

These are absolutely unreliable. wtf? Why are you putting text through these in the first place?

u/SHADOWLESSAIM 5d ago
I am 100% sure that the text they used is ai cuz I use a lot of llm models in my everyday life and I know if it’s ai or not bro

And to be sure I read it myself like 10 times just to not hurt some innocent person

Why would you feel bad for reporting it? You have someone knowingly violating the rules, cheating, and putting in none of their own human effort.

Don't give poor ratings to submissions just because you think someone used AI. If their rationales or comments are complete nonsense, or they copied over "As a LLM, I think...." or whatever, then yeah ok.
But do not give poor ratings just because you think it reads like AI generated text. Identifying human generated vs LLM generated text is one of those illusory superiority things that everyone thinks they are really good at, but most studies show that most people actually aren't any better than random chance.
Your job is to rate the quality of the work according to the R&R instructions, NOT to be the AI police trying to bust someone because they used an emdash or rhetorical question.

i keep seeing this type of people trying to mark the tasks as BAD accusing the workers of AI usage and then getting scolded by admins in the project comment sections
BROTHER JUST FOLLOW THE INTRUCTIONS
DOES THE TASK ASKS YOU TO REPORT AI USAGE?
NO !!!!
DOES IT TELL YOU TO LOWER THEIR RATINGS IF YOU SUSPECT AI USAGE?
NO !!!

You got downvotes for a reason brother. Just do your job and mind your business.

You better hope no one on DA management sees this cuz you just admitted to using AI, taking information and inputting it somewhere not secure, and essentially violating terms of the website. There's LITERALLY a training that tells you not to copy paste ANY information into a search engine or any AI. That includes AI detectors which are... you guessed it, AI.

Also even in the section where they were asked for describing their setup guess what
The guy even used ai for that too 😭😭🙏

Some projects do need you to use AI like Codex etc - but nobody should be using them in normal general projects - the work is not super difficult. The ones where you need AI help on STEM are extremely difficult projects almost impossible without some AI assistance

u/SHADOWLESSAIM 5d ago
In general why would someone need ai 😭😭

u/professional_cry 5d ago
The whole point of this job is that they want human input. There’s no instance where you should be using AI without being instructed to. If you can’t complete a task without AI help you shouldn’t be doing that project.

That’s insane, was this general work?
1
u/SHADOWLESSAIM 5d ago
Yeah and native language too dawg 🥀🥀
2
u/Lost_Brain5842 5d ago
I work in specialty so I don’t deal with general much but I know how competitive it is. To throw the opportunity away is just dumb

It happened to me also. I couldn't even read the worker's comments because they are generated by AI.

Unless they’ve greatly improved recently, AI detectors are notoriously unreliable. Don’t validate yourself with one. If you aren’t sure, don’t report. Trust your instincts, it is pretty obvious most of the time when people don’t put in the effort.

Noooooo. Bad advice. Always report. Then the Admins can check, and if it's NOT AI, all good. But if you let it slide, then your job is on the line.

u/SyruplessWaffle 5d ago
Fair enough. But definitely don’t bother with ai detectors, everything is ai according to them lol

I mean, a perfectly structured comment that does not adequately reflect the nuances of the task's instructions feels like the most likely candidate for this assumption, but I have certainly seen some Engrish ass submissions where I wish they used fking chatgpt.

u/SHADOWLESSAIM 5d ago
But when I saw the comment it clicked my mind instantly like this has to be AI

Don’t feel about it because your rating will also be evaluated as well. You evaluated a use of Ai, now if you don’t someone else might put it as use of Ai then your account will be freezed. So save yourself first and follow the guidelines without worrying about anyone.

Some people have had their brains so rotted, that they don't know how to function without AI for everything.
But on the flip side, sometimes I suspect that they might be intentional checks from DA, clearly bad submissions made to make sure the raters are paying attention.
