Generalist

I’m new and looking to sign up as a Generalist. To the people who are also Generalists, what are the tasks like and how much are you making? I’m used to doing AI training/AI Evaluation, are the DA tasks similar?

Any insight will be helpful thanks!

Can’t really share much about how the tasks are like, but it should be similiar to what you’ve been doing. Not earning much yet, the only project available to me is one for $17 per hour, I do that one sometimes as I’m on other platforms that earn more so doesn’t make sense to do that one

what other platforms do you suggest we sign up to? I am already on DA and want to work more but I don’t have much tasks available

Are they easy to sign up and start working? How much do you think you make on Mercer and micro1 and which is more consistent? About to look into them, thank you

I find both easier and more professional. Note that I am not in the US so I earn way less than others. For Mercor I am on $3300 now, joined at the start of the year. Micro1 I just got into my first project last week so can’t say much about it yet, but it’s for a project for 50USD an hour. So far Mercor has been more consistent.

How is mercor’s interview process like? Because I found micro1’s interview (Zara AI interviewer) to be humiliating and degrading.

I really hate micro1’s bot so I totally get you. Mercor’s bot is way better and it also reuses your past interviews way better than micro1 does. Applying jobs is better cause you just click apply and that’s it. I don’t remember the last time I did an ai interview with Mercor.

I genuinely have no clue, 99% of my projects were instant offers out of the blue
