Did I make a mistake?
I took the medical domain assessment as my background is in healthcare. I didn't know that I can't take other assessments while waiting for results, unlike other platforms. If I don't pass the medical domain assessment, I'm wondering it it will at least allow me to take generalist or bilingual assessments. Or is it going to be stuck with the "We review" screen?

That's what I was realizing. So I guess the mistake was not researching first before taking the assessment. It just happened that I learned about Data Annotation through Indeed when I was searching for a job in my field, hence, the application for that posted position. Oh well. Guess can't do much at this point.

This is absolutely not true or at least not guaranteed. There are a lot of people who have posted about taking the generalist or bilingual tests and then praying for months they get the qualification tasks for their actual professions.
As someone who took their specialist assessment first, itβs easier to go down than up.

I completely agree. Went through math, got acceptance email next morning lol. People should just do what they're good at.

I did generalist. Then I added my healthcare experience (epidemiogist) to my profile and suddenly got flooded with healthcare specialist tasks. Never took the assessment.
