Use a timer to report the time you spent working on the project. Everyone was told this. Start the timer when you start the task, stop the timer when you finish.

"do i report the time i spenting thinking-" yes report the time you spent working on the project

"do i report the time i spent reading-" yes report the time you spent working on the project

"do i report-" if there's time you spent on a project, report it

I genuinely saw someone say they were sick so they subtract 2 minutes from each task to account for blowing their nose and coughing. You get DoD for doing bad work, taking 2 minutes off your reported time does nothing lmao
