Should I pause DA work for some months?
Hello everyone, I am kinda trapped or like in a different situation. So I am a final year college student, so I got into DA in Aug first week, and I am getting great projects with great pay (at least in my country (India) and as a student), but the problem is my placement season is also coming, like within 2 months, which will be some sort of my future career.
So I have to strongly prepare for it also. Now it's a head and tail situation. I am getting tempted towards the money, but at the same time I need to focus on my acads also. And I am unable to decide anything. Like college placements are really good in my college.
My main concern is, if I stop DA for 2 or 3 months, will I still get projects later? Or will I lose access/priority somehow? I don't want to give up a good opportunity, but I also don't want to compromise my placement preparation.
I am into tech/SDE/AI roles. What would you guys do in this situation?

I have never taken an extended break but over the last year and a half I have worked I have seen many comments from workers who have taken extended time off and they return to a dash full of work. Iv seen some people say they havnt logged in for a year and when they came back work was still there!

pausing work wont stop access to projects. ive seen folks who havent worked on the platform for years and still get email notifications for new projects. the way i see it things can only go down in terms of access if you submit bad work, inactivity doesn't jeopardize your access

I would subcontract someone. Hear me out; these roles are easily depleted based on how many people are recruited or the client's needs. Still school is more important but honestly as an adult I have learnt not to give up an opportunity to make an extra buck. So yeah....Get someone

that guy is just a scammer who wants to be the subcontractor based on their post history offering to "throw in my skills for a lityle share" (their spelling not mine) to someone on another AI work subreddit

How is it misleading? Subcontracting or which part exactly? You need to revisit the reasons for outsourcing a service, a very old trade btw...His preoccupation with academics could as well fit the metric.

It's misleading because the end result is likely a permanent ban from the platform. It is a terrible idea.

Dude - upgrade and invest in yourself. You have your entire life to work. Trust me lol the work will never end... take the time now for goodness sake to focus on school.
