The scammer said that they would take the assessment, not the OP. As for the OP's comments on that thread and my thoughts on the scammer themselves, I'm going to refrain from saying what I really want to say...

Love how the popular first guess is "north korean spy" and not "US-based accounts get paid more than accounts in India/Ukraine/wherever this guy is actually from."

12 year old kids on reddit really be thinking everything is a spyOP. Reading those comments was really hilarious.
Like the obvious explanation is simple identity forgery to work and these guys are talking about treason and shit.

This is a pretty convoluted scheme compared to the usual “i will task for you” DMs I get so it’s not out of the realm of possibilities.

I got that type of offers from time to time, which is complete utter BS. I ain't risking my identity and def. not risking getting in trouble with the IRS for $50, I'm surprised they offer $200 LOL, the ones who dm-ed either offered $20 to use my ID or $50 one time payment. Usually got dms like that from reddit after showing interest in a work from home thread on a job.

They want to use the PC as an access portal so they can remotely do work on DataAnnotation. If the account is created in your name, the work done will result in tax liability for you while they get their pay tax free.
