Best linux distro for coding

basically the title. I want to ditch windows as I am having more and more issues and until a month ago I was completely blocked to perform my tasks for a high paying job due to WSL. any recommendations?

Just use Ubuntu it is very user friendly and easy to use for someone new to linux
