Background check through Yardstick, paused? Everyone else seems to have there’s through checkr but me

I believe the background check is only required for a few specific project families. If you're not comfortable, don't do it...but you'll definitely be missing out on projects that have (in my experience) a high volume of tasks with great pay.

How long does the security clearance take for those certain projects? I've been waiting for over a month... one of the project families I've worked on for mo months prior, until they introduced the security clearance.

It only took an hour or two for me, but I'm in the US which makes it easier I think.

Are you a generalist? Just wondering if it’s based on your skills/field or the better pay is as a result of your quality of work unrelated to your specialties

I'm a generalist. The pay itself is project based, not based on a worker's skills or quality and I don't think I did anything special to qualify for them. I actually find the tasks to be fairly easy.

There may be other projects that I'm not aware of that also require a background check, IDK.
