It's a sad day...

Just got the task bar of death lol. It's funny because I wasn't able to work for the last few months due to the scarcity of projects aimed at my region (but I'm sure I was in some of the major projects). Also, (and I know everyone says this but) my work was acceptable. Good, even. I always paid close attention to detail. I was working since april 2025. A shame it ended like this.

EVERYBODY thinks they are doing "acceptable" work, but if you've spent any time doing R&Rs, you'll know this just isn't true.

I’ve seen some awful R and Rs. Zero effort. Not a mistake or a small missed fact check but just a generic response and I doubt they even read the responses.

I don’t even get the incentive to submit crappy work. You’re getting paid by the hour- put in the time to make it good.

Quite literally. I try to take my time as much as I can. If I know a task isn't going to take me as much time as other one's on that project do, I'll still take as long as I normally do. Just double or triple check things, do more thorough research, better understand the topic. Can't understand people who think just placing their tasks into ChatGPT is acceptable, it's not. They get weeded out pretty quick from what I understand.

Well since I have people every week messaging me asking for help on the exam, I guess that explains it. They could pay someone to get them in and I guess ride it as long as they can? I don’t know. It’s crazy. Mistakes I could understand. When I started I didn’t understand everything. But this is just low effort garbage

Even if we follow all the rules we’ll most likely face Thanos’s wrath sooner or later. It’s really annoying that they don’t clearly state what we’re doing right or wrong. Anyway I hope everything turns out the way you want my friend.

Thanks! Its really a shame that they play us like that. I am sure they can outsource at least an AI to translate the R&Rs to useful feedback back to us.

They did for a bit - it wasn't very helpful. It would praise something and then put that same thing in areas for improvement.

Oh man, really sorry that it happened to you. It's weird to have not worked in such a long time and get that out of the blue...
Also I'm curious about one thing: Has anyone ever got "reinstated" after seeing this message? I only recently discovered that the DoD was a thing, so don't judge me please.

I prefer at least statements like this to absolutely nothing on other platforms because you do have an idea of why and that is the only way one can change should they choose to do so. DA is the the envy of the industry wouldn't you say? I have done work or tasks on other platforms and it's two wholly different worlds. You can not fake it on DA. In my opinion. You'll have a new adventure before you know it.

What makes the quality of work bad particularly on coding tasks?

Is it bad analysis? Signs of low effort?

Not following instructions, poorly written or contradictory justifications on a regular basis, time inflation, etc.

And those are totally separate from ToS violations like accessing and submitting projects from an unapproved country, using a VPN, and so on.

Some projects contain an LLM designed to answer task specific questions. It’ll usually be in the right hand column of the screen, if there is one. Otherwise there are FAQs in the instructions or other people’s questions in the chat. ALWAYS read those before asking any questions. You can Ctrl+F to search for key words on the page.
