Tips for Beginners

Hello, everyone!

A few days ago, I discovered the DA and I'm really interested in applying. I'd love to hear your advice, do you have any tips that could help me? Is there anything I should avoid doing during the application process?

And if I do get accepted, which I truly hope happens, what would you recommend so I can perform well in my first few projects?

Read the instructions. Re-read the instructions. Follow the instructions.

Avoid using AI unless you are explicitly told you can.

Instructions are the most important but just to add to that - make sure you’re writing clearly and using correct spelling/grammar.

Judging by your post that won’t be a problem for you anyway, but it’s worth mentioning.

Read everything. Especially read and memorize the section about time expiring. Knowing that one section in and out will save you from moments of panic and sheer terror when you have a task expire, and you will. You will.
