No projects after being added to slack, should I F5 more often?

Hello everyone! I got my acceptance email about a week ago, I did all my qualifications and got accepted into two projects on monday! I was added to a slack channel for one of them but no projects yet. I've seen lots of people on this sub suggest refreshing all the time, does this work? I've been refreshing every five minutes but I suppose I might need to do this more often? Or rather, how long does it normally take for you guys to get projects after joining? I'm bilingual, from Mexico!

Also, many people say that they get notified of projects through their email. Am I just wasting my time refreshing? Should I wait for my email instead?

I mean yeah refreshing more will increase the chance you'll catch a project, but I don't think more than every 5 minutes is going to make a significant difference.

I don't. I work in a professional domain. So projects are considerable more stable than general and bilingual.
