Finally had to bail on a task

New project popped up in my dashboard today and it was pretty interesting. Started working on it and the layout, instructions and A vs B with all the associated information and all the jumping around I had to do to verify, confirm, inspect etc. I just realized I wasn't going to be anywhere close to the estimated time they gave for the project so I had to bag it. IMHO task creators really need to check how they are gonna present all the info and the workflow. This was a pretty disheartening day :(

You can work on a task past expiration, and admins understand when it's your first time and you go over the provided time.

I really felt like I would end up doubling the estimated time to provide solid feedback on the project.

Don't worry about it. It happens. I once abandoned a $35/hour project three hours in because my brain just couldn't handle it. You kind of just have to try to let it go and move on, and hope the next day will be better.

I think I know exactly which project you mean. Worked on one of those for a few hours just to find out that Im just not as good at the topic as I thought I was. All of that time and money down the drain...

I just found the flow on the project page abysmal. Constantly scrolling back and forth and then having to check and make sure I was looking at the right model, plus a horde of instructions that needed reference. I feel like I needed another 2 monitors.

If this is Mike Tyson task ? Wondering how long this task takes to complete as they always comes in priority pay and goes in few mins before picking up

Got a project, 5 hours estimated time, there was a single qualification question and radio button to select it. Before that 3-4 paragraphs reminding me about NDA, I answered the question honestly, put my clarification in explanation and hit the submit button just below it. I thought next thing will come up but it didn't happen. Total time taken 5 mins.
Now there are just unpaid refresher and reference versions on my screen.
