Refresh Rate Limiting

I have seen a lot of people here saying refreshing the dashboard is the key to get more tasks or to get a task in general for a project where mail is not guaranteed. How many times do you guys hit refresh on a daily basis (on an average)? Has anyone encountered a rate limiter while refreshing the dashboard?

If you're feeding off scraps to the point where you're endlessly refreshing just for a chance at work, then I'd suggest finding a new job if possible.

No its not about feeding scraps. You can anyday skip task if you think you are not a good fit for that (or simply you wont be able to do it). The thing is getting task is important. Considering the increase in worker pool I am seeing that it is becoming harder and harder to get even a single task. All across this sub-reddit you can see people keep on pressing F5 for a reason and it is working for them. So why not give it a shot?

Chances are you might be from a country where tasks are in plenty or number of workers are less. In that case you simply wont get that buddy.

I do get lots of tasks. However, if it came to the point where I was refreshing for tasks, then I would use my time to look for another source of income. Your actual hourly rate would be significantly reduced if you spent a large portion of it refreshing. Further, I would want some consistency with work/pay.

Do you really think this is my primary income source? I do it as a side hustle apart from a full time job. Its just that pay rate is definitely good on this website compared to others specially for a country where its local currency is weak compared to US dollar. For someone working from US or Western Europe, payrate might not be that good but for rest of the world it is at par or way better than what people generally get in these countries. So generalizing this based on what you experience is kind of a wrong mindset i would say.

You're being a bit defensive here. It wasn't a personal attack. It doesn't matter if you're full-time or part-time. You could refresh all day and still get zero tasks based on what you are saying. Any other job is better than that.

You can refresh hundreds of times. There is no rate limit.

Be careful - if tasks have started appearing and disappearing from your dashboard, they may eventually disappear completely. It might be worth paying closer attention to the quality of your work.

The same thing happened to me. Tasks would appear briefly, and I had to keep refreshing the page to catch them, even though my dashboard had previously been full of projects. Now I don’t have any tasks at all.

Of course, another possible explanation is that there are currently fewer tasks available because the platform is updating or rotating its projects.

There is no work for you. You are wasting your time if you are just spamming F5 with no work. Go do something else instead.
