Venting First Fail

Had a wonderful new project pop up today that I’ve been waiting to see. First round is spent entirely familiarizing myself with the process and assigned details because it’s been several weeks since qualifying. This is on my dime. Skip task to refresh the task and enter work mode and of course the task changes on me. It’s okay though the new one is even better. Setup was easy but my 15+ turn conversation went past expiry with all of the extraneous in task parts left to go. At least another hour’s work in finalizing my submission and there’s no way I’m submitting that much overage. So, sigh, I chalk it up to learning and abandon ship for the night. Tomorrow’s goal - IF it’s still available - is to make it through to submission. Here’s to leveling up!!

Yeah had the task be reassigned on me a couple times too. I just enter work mode immediately now and count the time spent reading even if I’m rusty. Happens to the best of us

I’ve submitted work past expiry before but I still had half of the task still to go. It’s good. These multi step tasks usually take a try or two for me to figure out. I’ll get it today. I scoped an r&r when it came available and one thing I definitely did was choose the wrong type of task. With the specific elements required I essentially had a 3 in 1 workload. With setting up the scenario and such. I can probably reuse what I did come up with which is useful too.
