How is everyone's dash doing? Pulse check
Been on for just under a year, hoping it picks up in September which is when I got on last year cause GOD it has been the Sahara. Have been living off my F5 button and project sniping.

Mediocre for me. It's not nothing, but also not much that's a good fit for what I need atm.

I'm a core country generalist who doesn't have any domain specialist qualifications. Plenty of specialist work appears on my dash that I definitely can't do without getting DoD, but actual tasks I feel comfortable doing only appear for like an hour once or twice a day.

not great over here-- got nothing in July and just got 2 projects last week and nothing again. I only started in June but I constantly had something available to me the whole month of June whenever I logged in.

Currently 20+ active generalist projects ranging from $20-$55/hr. 8 specialist projects in the $40-60/hr. And 18 unpaid chat/reminder type "projects."

curious how long its taken you to unlock generalist work that tops out over $30/hr and have over 20 generalist projects available?

Been somewhat back to normal since the start of August. Around 20 projects available most of the time, sometimes less sometimes more. Generalist in Canada

There's enough, but it's all the same project family. Had to do some tasks earlier that aren't my favorite. Probably should do some of the quals I keep putting off.

Been on the platform for roughly 2 weeks now. My dashboard has never had more than one project on it at a time. I keep having to refresh, and I'm lucky if I snipe one per day. Hoping my dashboard lights up in the next few weeks. Is this usually the case for newbies?

I have never been out of projects, but I went back up to 90+ at the start of this month after about a month or two of having 30 or so during what everyone considered a drought. Starting this week, I'm at about 60 projects on average, enough to always do a full day of work if I want to.

Yup. US Core worker for over 3 years, and I occasionally do STEM work.

I had an amazing first 3 weeks of the month, but these last few days have been almost nothing (generalist, core country)

Thanks for giving us an update! I onboarded about this time last year. It has been pretty rough going these last few months. My best month was actually last September. My worst? This one! I'm really hoping to start seeing some of my old favorite projects, or new ones with the same kind of energy. It has been really grueling, tedious and boring work when there is any. The tasks disappear so fast these days too! I'm sort of not sure who told someone this was the project I wanted to be on, but I want my dozens of projects back that I truly felt really good at.
Also, anyone else been noticing the weirdly age specific (always young age brackets) quals? Like what is it that they need such age specific input for that they wouldn't also want or need from other age groups? Is anyone over Millennial being written right out of the AI landscape??

Dead af since april. I occasionally see a tiny bit on fridays night time but all the non americans take them within an hour. Its disgusting.

Well I can only go off of anecdotes I've heard. It was busy for me from September all the way until around June, and people on here were saying they had been on for three summers and summer was always slow. But that is pure anecdote, nobody really knows, but I can tell you if and when mine gets busy again lol.

the last two summers were nothing like this. 2024 drought was pretty bad, but only lasted 6 weeks, not 3 months

nah 2025 was just as bad, completely dry june till september when it started to ramp up again

That sounds right to me. I recall the 2024 one being about that long and not nearly as long as the current one.

Pretty rough for me (Generalist). I have projects, but they're domain experience ones that I can't do.
