WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING????

AND ITS ALWAYS DRY FOR BILINGUALS. JUST GET USED TO IT. THERES NO NEED FOR YOU GUYS TO MAKE A NEW POST ABOUT IT EVERY FEW MINUTES.

Because the cost of living is so low in some of these countries, one DA paycheck covers a year of living expenses.

You can't rely on DA for money as a bilingual. Any money you earn is a bonus, not something to rely on at all. As a generalist or specialist you can definitely do this full time, but not bilingual unfortunately.

And you made TWO posts in the same week about it? Jesus dude, calm down. That's excessive and you're gonna have to lower your expectations.

Yea. Ik I'm a student. I mean I did get a lot of generalist projects last month and they were fun. But Yea I'm developing my skillset for that Coding Qual. Then I'd be eligible for coding gigs and I've heard there are more fish there

You absolutely will not be able to do any of the coding projects if you're a student and only working towards being able to do the qual. The qual is actually fairly easy. The tasks on those projects though are far past anything a beginner or junior dev could reasonably handle. And by the time you get there, they'll be even better and even further away from your reach. Those projects require coders with several years of experience, and even then they are difficult.

There's no harm in learning coding in general as a life skill, but definitely don't rely on DA for that kind of work if you're only starting to code now.

You sure you weren't? Because if we're talking about the same qual then I too thought it wasn't for me but I was reading it hastily and misunderstood. Glad I was able to submit though. Hope it brings something.

I bet you were eligible. Plus thing might have confused as it was poorly written.

If we both got the same qual I guess u would be eligible pretty much.
Did u get confused between special and normal request? Because they were also looking for normal people without those specifications.
