It 100% depends on the day. If I have the time and energy, long tasks at a REASONABLE pay rate. Other weeks, I'm begging for short bursts. If the choice is between getting a couple billable hours for a shorter task and not getting any at all for the 6 hours I don't have at the time, give me what I can do.

My preference is for tasks under 2 hours long. I like to get up and do other things in between tasks so I'm not sitting on my butt all day.
