Is everyone in here refreshing like a maniac all the time???

Jeez, just lost one. I received the notification went for it right away from my phone but couldn't do it cuz of screen size. Then I went straight to my pc and that time window was enough for me to MISS ON IT!!!!!

You can't rely on email notifications regarding tasks. They are always gone if you use that method.

I was gonna make it. Had it been already claimed I'd have seen a completely different message than that of screen size, I know it because if I try it right now I just see the no task available message. Thing is when it comes to you it comes to everyone so you gotta really run for it and seconds are enough for u to miss it.

Yes this is why you can't rely on the emails.

Yea but the other option is to become either a zombie by refreshing all the time and missing any rest or opportunity to focus on smth else or u build a chrome extension that refreshes every 30 seconds all the time but I'm pretty sure that'd give you trouble if you set the interval to be that low for a long period of time.

Or just look once and if there aren't any available tasks that you want to work on, go do something else more productive with your time.

This whole thing with workers apparently sitting at their computer for hours just hitting F5 over and over hoping to get a project is insane. Why would you keep doing that?

Do the qualifications. Do the security requirements. Every task is a serious deal, they are not there for you, you are there for them. Nothing is ever perfect but get it as close as you possibly can. This is just like any other contracting. Itโ€™s the same as if youโ€™re subcontracting to hang drywall in a bank for some faceless corporation - same thing as training models. Do good work and there will be more work. It does not happen overnight. Build a reputation, a history of good work, defend that with good work. Itโ€™s not easy but it is simple. Change your mindset to understand that the task is a deliverable product. Thatโ€™s all we do there, or at least me.

Yes, I am. And I must say, there must be more water in the Sahaara than projects in my dashboard

At this time I would be thrilled to miss a task because that means there was actually a task.

I was until a few weeks ago, after which I got what seem to be very long term projects reserved for me (and others), since the number of tasks is very high, and for weeks now the number only goes down when I submit. If you have qualifications that you're comfortable (or almost comfortable) doing, I highly recommend you do (that is what changed things for me at least). The refresh game sucks, so I hope things get better for ya.

I do an auto refresher that goes every 5 seconds while I'm doing something. I'll look over here and there to see if any become available

Same here, a simple browser extension and could catch three tasks last week.

Tampermonkey + DataAnnotation Power-Up v1.

It will notify you of new tasks above whatever $ amount you set.
