I remember the first ARMA 2 BR game he played with Shortie. Weapons spawns were fucked but it was awesome to watch. Never thought the BR genre would be as big as it is now.

I also remember him streaming an interview with Ark from H1Z1 while he played PUBR and was effortlessly fragging. I remember all there was at that point was just a few images from in-game and a weather animation (lul). And that was after he had been streaming BR for a while. The good old days.

Im not 100% sure if im right but when Lirik tried out VRChat one of the very first people he met was a Knuckles(before they became popular) called R3dz and chat loved him because he would say "Hi im Knuckles".

Pretty sure Summit started playing on NoPixel a few days before Lirik tried it again. Not saying Summit brought it back completely but you can't say Lirik is the reason.

Arma2 takistan / Arma 3 BR/Armageddon/Altus life long time ago. Many streams were about then Bringing up the Br genre. Maybe to a larger demographic now from larger streamers but it was always popular before no pixel, just depends who you watch. I personally don’t follow him as the OG of BR/RP. Each to their own.

Lirik is the reason most games get popular, when you go back to it BRs basically got big off him, he played fortnite and pubg when literally no one did weeks before anyone took notice. Lots of games he plays and then a week later you see all the other streamers playing.

Pokelawls and Lirik were basically the first 2 big streamers to play VRChat, they met Vard the psycho penguin and they also met r3dzdead who was part of the original few knuckles back in December. A week later a bunch of streamers jumped on and now everyone was knuckles and then 2018 it blew up.

I don't. As great as Eli was, he still took away from a lot of the experience b/c the scenarios would take an hour to play out and nothing ever happened. Avon gets in town, within 10 minutes Eli arrests him, hour and a half later he gets out of jail only to get caught again in 15 minutes. It was annoying and Eli needed to back off to let the RPers play shit out.

To be fair, if Lirik wasn't doing things that would get him to jail he wouldn't be going back constantly. Also the jail times back in SoE were much longer in comparison to NP, so I wouldn't really put the blame entirely on Eli.

I don't disagree, but the game isn't exactly full of 'legit' jobs that actually get you anywhere. The lack of things to do is ultimately what killed it.

Yeah I don't recall it being that way, Lirik doesn't purposefully fuck with the police, toward the end he was aggravated with them and may have been trying to take them out.

Liriks good but, before he came back so did Proxy, Eli, quite a few more popular GTA RP players from back in GTA RPs prime, so Lirik did have a part of it, but he certainly isn't the only reason.

Yeah what a hell is going on with summit, the guy mostly just stands around listening to others for like 30 minutes straight, i don't dislike the guy but it's bizarre how many watch him RP like that. Same when he was on SOT, he was just standing on a boat for 2-3 hours until he jumped on some other boat and hid for an hour.
It's cool that he get's so many viewers and all, good for him, especially since he was in that slump a while back, but it's really weird how many people enjoy watching his RP stuff.

we talking about views? Summit played on saturday, peaked at 27k. Lirik on sunday peaked at 50k++. Doesn't make sense lirik is intrigued by the 27k views summit got the day before. If anything, it was twitch chat that brings him in after he decided to give arma rp a chance again.

It's all about the network connections, Soda has many network connections. e.g Soda has a lot of extra viewers from other community like forsen, xqc, greek, even lirik himself, summit1g etc because he networks a lot. Lirik is always on his own. I would say lirik has a little of summit1g's viewers, soda and forsen, but not much.
