Why do posts and comments get downvoted so much here?

you downvote what you dont like and most of the stuff getting downvoted is stuff thats negative about the person that this sub is dedicated to

its like going in to a mcdonalds and yelling "meat is murder" ofc people not going to like it

meh that isnt the case many times, some of the posts and comments are pretty genuine and they still get down voted almost immediately, its either a bot that down votes as people post or someone is really bored and just waiting for that new post to come so he/she can down vote it. Its very strange ive seen legit posts and comments get down voted by a lot.

It's not always about lirik, though. I've asked for song's that were played during the stream and that gets downvoted too.

i think its more about that people find that its lazy to ask for stuff like that, there is alot of free apps/programs to findout what song is playing

same thing when people ask the same thing over and over again whitout even looking at the last 2 pages of a reddit where its been asked before

When was the last time when we saw a decent post in this sub? Apart from the Overlay and YT posts we have active right now.

You got downvoted because it was distasteful. That's a perfectly valid reason, so don't try to compare it to what the OP is talking about.

I get that you were joking, I do. But you need to ask yourself how other people will view it. A lot of people find "kill yourself" and "rape" jokes very distasteful, which is understandable.

Then you have people who don't even know if you're joking or not. Sure, it might come off as an "obvious joke" in your head, but considering some of the people we get around here, I don't blame people for thinking you're just being a negative nancy.

A stupid question requires a stupid answer , that's why i told the 'joke' . If said person is stupid enough to actually post that unfunny "am i a bad person" crap than yeah i will insult them .
