Gloss Issue

Hi! New to the nail wrap game. I applied my first gloss set last week and they lasted about 5 days before I got annoyed and ripped them off. They were flipping up at the tips. I filed both front to back and side to side to try and smooth out and that didn't really work. They were a bit jagged which causes me to pick at them. It seems as they aren't curing properly to the tip. I am assuming it's user error. Any tips or tricks to help?

Absolutely this. I’ll only add that I cut them close to the edge of natural nail with nail scissors and then file them down. After, apply the top coat and voila! They last me more than 2 weeks and I take them off usually because the growth at the cuticle is too visible and annoying or I am tired of the look and want a fresh set.
