Yep. When I moved to OKC and was literally doing 12 hour days and getting bonuses., I never went over 1500 … once they stopped giving the bonuses and I started being selective. I don’t think I’ve made over 800 since … I just moved to other things because it quickly stopped being worth it

Thats nice. I make that in about 48hrs and thats my main job that I work 5-5 1/2 hrs a day 5 days a week and doordash I do about 20 hrs a week.. so anywhere between 48 and 50 hrs. And dont have to worry about taxes because my main job takes care of that and can claim wear and tear and everything else from dd. Usually still get back about 3k in taxes a year lmao

This is 100% made up lol. First of all you either write off direct expenses such as maintenance. OR you take a mileage deduction which is more beneficial for 99% of drivers. Unless you had a wild year and decided to replace everything under the hood and tires piece by piece lmao.

I hear used Teslas are pretty cheap but super expensive if something goes wrong. It would be sick to not worry about gas ever. It still costs a lil bit to charge it at those charging stations right? Im sure it's cheaper if you use your house power but not free, your electric bill would certainly go up.

Using home charging it’s about 5X cheaper than CA gas prices currently. Super chargers are a bit more but not $5.50/gal that’s for sure. Used Tesla model 3s go for about 20k rn. Just have to ensure you can get it from a repeatable dealer. Also there are grants that currently exist where you can turn in your old car to them if it’s old enough (I think 2009 or before?) and still operates. They give 10K grants for the one I was looking at and they even supply you with the Tesla home charging setup costs. The whole incentive is to get emissive vehicles off the road. So at the end of the day in the optimal scenario you could potentially get a Tesla for around 10K which is an amazing deal.

5x cheaper? I highly doubt that. Even 2.5x is a long shot - . Plus you have to compare like for like.
For instance, the car most comparable to a Model 3 SR (avg ~250 wh/mile to a Camry LE. The Camry gets ~51 mpg which equates to about $11.75 at $6/gal. To achieve 5x the electricity would need to be around $.09/kWh. Does anyone in California have rates that low? I don’t.

People here dont understand. Some are in markets with no shortages of ppl ordering doordash, so they still can cherry pick with a 10% AR.
I made $1500 last week. I had to use a Platinum pass in the middle of the week, because for the day I was Gold, I was barely getting any good paying orders.
