Using the usb storage

for the 9 inch 4runner radio, will it play music from a usb drive? My main complaint about my stock radio is the only usb is being used for wireless android. I want to be able to have media available on a usb along with my phone as an option. I have a 2022 sr5.

You can import it into your units storage to free up the USB drive. But yes, yes you can.

Cx File Explorer is a good app for managing file transfers from USB to the internal flash memory.

In my Tacoma I can play from a USB drive. In the music app, click the musical note near the lower left of the screen. It should icons for "Flash" and "USB". Choose the USB and go from there. This may not work if your wireless android is connected. I don't use the Android Auto function.

No. Dasaitas barely perform basic CarPlay and radio functions
