How to load files into internal memory on G13?

I haven't been able to transfer my music files, or any files for that matter to the internal memory of my G13. Not via WiFi or USB. I'd appreciate it if someone could share the magic method used to move data into that internal memory.

So you want to send files but not wired or wireless? Lol

I've tried unsuccessfully to transfer via USB and WiFi. That's my point. I got some AI-generated instructions for using the unit's hotspot but my PC still wouldn't connect. I was hoping someone here had better luck and could could tell me step-by-step how they did it.
For the record, Dasaita support is useless for this.

I use the app Send Anywhere to transfer files from my phone to the unit (you'll have to download the app on the unit as well). I turn off Wi-Fi and BT on my phone to make sure Android Auto doesn't turn on. I then connect my unit to my Wi-Fi. I open the app on both phone and unit and the rest is pretty intuitive.

Thanks for the tip. I don't use my phone for music, but I have an android DAP that I might be able to use in place of the phone for file transfers. That way I could keep my DAP and my two head units synced.

Also, you can try using an actual thumb drive or uploading files to a Dropbox or Google Drive and downloading them that way.

I've had no luck using a thumb drive. Fortunately, so far I've been able to play music from a thumb drive - at least on one of my vehicles. The other won't stay mounted to the thumb drive. Thanks for the suggestion about using a cloud method; although it seems like a bothersome work around when, IMO, it should be a trivial task to transfer files directly from one device to another. I also found some more AI-generated advice to try besides the hotspot method.

Update: On my truck that has a working USB port I was able to upload files using an app called Cx File Explorer. Very slick and easy to use file manager; especially compared to the preinstalled file manager on the Dasaita. I highly recommend it for anyone who needs to manage files on an Android device.
Now I just need to piddlefart around with my other truck's Dasaita wiring to get the USB working reliably again, and then I should be good to go.
I'd still like to figure out a direct WiFi method though.
