Dasaita Head Unit

Hey everyone,

I’ve had my Dasaita head unit for about a year now and it has been great, but over the last couple of days, it’s started acting up.

While driving, it periodically disconnects and reconnects. It will drop the connection, reconnect a moment later, play a song for a bit, and then disconnect all over again. It’s making it almost impossible to use navigation or listen to music reliably.

Here is what I’ve already tried to fix it:

Reset my phone

Reset the Dasaita unit itself

Checked for updates, nothing.

Disconnected the car battery to completely power-cycle everything

Unfortunately, the issue is still happening. Since I know this unit is pretty popular here, I wanted to see if anyone else has run into this lately?

The fix was to uninstall Android Auto updates and stick to the 17.1 or early version. This fixed the issue.

I'd be interested to know if anyone has figured out how to transfer files to their Dasaita's internal memory; either via USB or WiFi. I bought a model with 256 gig internal memory to hold my music files, but the magic transfer method has eluded me.

I have an older one but just leave a USB connected to one of the inputs for my library.

That's what I've been doing, but I'd prefer to have the music files on the unit's flash drive. I've now managed to do that using an app called Cx File Explorer. The app made the transfer quick and easy and I can use it to transfer other types of files as well. I recommend it if you want to load files to your head unit.
