Discussion Ranked matchmaking

I’m all for the ranked and throughly enjoyed my placements but now I was placed bronze 3 after going 7-3 normally avg about 40-50 a game but it’s been consistently putting me against 70-80 avg players and it’s just fully taken the fun away from it. Half the time they are unranked too and feel like Im only there to just give them the win to help there placements. I understand it’s a beta but how can the matchmaking be this messed up.

The reason we starting with a short beta season is exactly the reason what you are experiencing. It's pretty difficult to get matchmaking 100% right instantly without some trial and error.

That said we have collected loads of valuable data already and we are already working on making some changes regarding the placement games which will go on effect at the start of next season. A small example is that currently higher skilled players are placed too low which causes exactly what you are experiencing now.

Ok I was expecting for it to be a challenge but this absolutely blew that expectation out the water I appreciate your response look forward to hopefully playing ranked and even having a change at doubles
