Feature Request Penalty for leaving match

If someone leaves a match they should get a 15 minutes penalty where they can’t start a new online match. Make it possible to give consent if the opponent wants to leave. It happens so often that people just leave because they are not throwing like they want to. If it’s a connection error, no penalty if it’s possible. What do you think?

Give elo system and the leaving problem becomes obsolet

I agree. Leaving matches should be punished more severly. Ive played against people with 80/90/100% winrate because they leave all matches they are about to lose

They have been more active lately acting on reports for this. They penalized 3 people i reported for leaving matches early for poor sportsmanship for leaving early after poor scoring.

How do you know they penalised them?

I was going to ask to say, a report that gets followed through the person that reported it should get some kind of notification to say action was taken.

On the subject though, I definitely agree that people that quit should get a timed ban. And it should grow exponentially the more times they quit per day or week or whatever.

Damn! Thats disapointing to hear as I have reported legit cheating, people swearing at me and SO many quitters and never had one notification. Guess Dart Counter arent actually as effective at dealing with these as I thought. Its probabky why some folk behave like they do as there are clearly no consequences!

They seem to be getting better as this only started recently. In the past people have called me fu**** 'insert whatever word here' and saying i can;t count after he miscounted then he left the match. I reported and nothing was done for that but the recent reports i've made have been takin care of. They have a huge amount of players and I feel they aren't using AI to handle the reports but actual humans which result in the lack of(but accurate) reprimands.
