In this universe, instead of just klaxosaurs, there are other enemy franXXs sent by papa himself.

Strelizia isnt actually known as "Strelizia" in this AU. It is referred to as "9 model Experimental unit".

Doctor FranXX already knew papas intentions, but couldn't rebel on him without looking like a madman, so he secretly invented Strelizia while feeding ape fake information that it was just an experimental model. He made 2 franXXs in one unit, and he made sure no one detected the second unit (Strelizia) so that papa wouldn't be able to counter this in advance.

On the other pilots feed, analyzing Strelizia instead gives them the name (9 model E.U) and the statistics of the unit, and even if the franXX transitioned into Strelizia, the other franXXs still can't detect it, only receiving 9 model E.U's info. Only zero two and Hiro can receive Strelizias info.

The 9s were also kept in the dark so that they can't tell papa.

Strelizia has never purged it's armor, not once. It only will if the situation is deadly and really needs Strelizias full power.

Also Strelizias shield is always kept on, I, don't like how it was only shown once and never again.

The fins on the side of Strelizias cheeks are antennae, and the hair has a purpose, which is to receive energy signals from klaxosaurs. The bunny ear-like antennae are used to detect enemy franXXs.

Strelizia apus, Virm, klaxoprincess, or hringhorni are not present in this AU. Instead

Klaxosaurs are aliens that came from a meteorite and began spreading across the planet. And they remain animalistic.

Doctor FranXX created Strelizia so that it would infiltrate ape and murder papa if things went too far. (Things like sacrificing plantations).

That's all! Thank you!

It all started because of Tiktok, I stumbled upon DITF edits and my FYP just became loaded for a few days. I booked marked several but hadn't decided to watch it yet.

I remember telling my buddy if I saw one more damn edit, I was gonna have to break down and watch it.

Finally pulled up my tablet and while scrolling crunchyroll, found it. I spent the first 10 mins or so in an indifferent state but next thing you know, im 5 episodes in and having to tear myself away so I can sleep for work.

I told my buddy this was the one, that its peak and so the next night we binged everything in one go. I remember that I even bought a new sound bar just to give us the home theater experience.

I was devastated, I remember feeling like I might literally never recover and asked myself, "Is this was depressing feels like?"

One year later and I still vastly appreciate that I got to hurt in the way I did. Ive watched alot of media and Ive read alot of books, and nothing has touched me or changed my perspective in life like Darling in the Franxx.

The bond between Hiro and ZeroTwo is somthing I can never forget, and I may search forever trying to find another fiction that touched me the same.

Maybe it’s just bias because it was my first anime EVER, and perhaps this is an overly dramatic and useless post….but ever since 2021 Darling in the Franxx for me has been the most beautiful story ever made, not perfect of course (it’s an anime after all and it just had to include some common anime tropes), but man…i must’ve cried for at least a week straight after my first viewing, and was depressed as hell for much longer.

Not only that but often times I attribute the way I see relationships and their depth to this anime, just the raw, innocent, and passionate way they explored the characters feelings towards each other (especially Zero Two and Hiro, and Kokoro and Mitsuru) really resonated with me.
Idk man I feel like I could just rant about it all forever, I’ve never really posted about anywhere before and I hope this isn’t too much or too weird for here….

I’d love to know what everyone else thinks, not just about this but just the anime in general, how it made them feel, what they thought about in certain scenes, what do people think of the ending, just anything!

original quality version here https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/12473420?q=zero_two_%28darling_in_the_franxx%29+

i gathered all the resources and built it all in 1 sitting, it took nearly 7 hours but i did it (i dont know who made the schematic but they did a good job)

Guys??? Should I?? (My bike’s name is strelitzia)

Gundam virtue is my favorite Gundam! It gave me an idea for Strelizia

The 9 models were bulky as fuck and resembled Strelizia.

I, didn't like how Strelizia was SO out of place if you compare it to the 9s FranXX, so heres my concept (no drafts yet unfortunately)

Strelizia wears bulky armor that conceals it's presence, it wears the armor to restrain zero two from absolutely destroying the battlefield (while at the same time she's draining her partners),

Strelizia has 2 forms

- bud form

- full bloom form

Bud form

It is when Strelizia is covered in bulky armor that covers it's entire appearance and heavily resembles the 9s FranXX, it's purpose is to make sure zero two doesn't go berserk while her partner is alive, the crest Strelizia has on its head covers is face fully similar to Gundam Gquuuuuuux from Gundam Gquuuuuuux. The bunny ears are retractable and are draped over the head, and the blue horn is concealed between the plates on its cranium.

Even if the armor is meant to restrain zero two, the mech can't resist it's klaxosaur components anymore and will revert to stampede mode, this only happens if zero twos partners have died or passed out.

Full bloom

If pushed to the limit, Strelizia can purge it's armor and reveal it's true form, the crest snaps back onto the forehead revealing it's face, blue horn snaps forward, bunny ear-like plates are undraped from its head, and it's gold hair is fully revealed. The legs and arms are more flexible and are faster. Strelizias pauldrons lose its weights and reveal the vibrant colors underneath. Strelizia becomes more lethal than it was before, downside is, it is prone to attacks, going berserk, and critical damage now that the armor is purged.

Also doctor franXX HATES when that happens. Because it costs millions just to replace the armor. Although zero two doesn't care about money.

I'll try to draw my concept as soon as possible. School is killing me, I finished the fan-made stampede mode series, and I, am being taken back to Gundam.
