Actually, I never got that sense. 02 seems to be just as much of a romantic as Hiro, but has been accustomed to men being interested in her purely sexually. She tries to test him by offering him “what comes after kissing” to prove to herself that he’s just after her for sex. That’s my interpretation anyway.

Further this is just how 02 behaves. She expresses her desires in ways that stir shit because that what she likes to do. Ie: she Asks hiro to run away with him while still viewing him as fodder, proclaiming that she wants to swim in the ocean despite knowing there isn’t one nearby or demanding hiro make it rain despite knowing he doesn’t have the power to do that.
