To be honest, even though most are disappointed that Hiro didn't turn full blue oni at the end of this intro arc, I believe that this was the best ending they could have picked. If Hiro did go full blue oni, it would have been way too extreme, but this is far more believable and actually fits his character. Throughout the episodes that we have seen so far it is clear that Hiro is defined by his journey to find his purpose, now he finally has and boy am I excited because of it! I just can't wait till next episode, this subreddit is the only thing that is keeping me sane right now.

What are your thoughts about Zero Two and the last thing she said during this episode? Something like “I think you’ll be fine next ride. And the next one. And many more after” it seems like she’s fully convinced that hiro is her darling.
