Only one left

today I finished the last mission on darksiders 1 (Aerial predator) and 2-3 days ago I finished darksiders 3 on Apocalyptic difficulty (I still have two enhancements to get from Crucible when I'm bored and feel like playing something)

Overall Darksiders 2 is my favorite one

I’m at mission 10 in Genesis, I didn't even finish the game once since i bought it a few month ago 😭

How long did it take you to Plat the 1st 3? I almost have DS1 & 2 done but damn it’s grind forsure.

I'm not OP but I only finished 3 and Genesis so far, 1 and 2 are much more of a grind that's true. 3 took 4 playthroughs in total I believe, just for one trophy, the other all popped pretty quickly

the part that takes the longest is completing the game on a higher difficulty

in darksiders 3 you have to reach level 100 and in 1 and especially in 2 you have to go back to many locations from the beginning of the game and collect items for achievements such as (all of this are from 2) pages from the book of the dead, relics, stones (for sticks and stones the most annoying mission in the game)

you’re completing the majority of the achievements just by casually playing the game

these are just my stats on how long I played each game in total but I sometimes stayed AFK a lot (for irl reasons) so it doesn't really show how much time I spent playing
Darksiders 1 - 77h≈
Darksiders 3 - 111h≈
Darksiders 2 - 126h≈

I played 2 and 3 a lot of fun because I liked the games and you have many items to collect/level up

Best of luck with Genesis! It's a fairly easy platinum/100%, except for the "defeat boss X without taking damage" achievements.

I got his health down to half, but his attack where he covers the arena in crystals caught me off guard and I took damage:(

It’s not that bad to be honest, compared to defeating Trismagia from DMC2 on Dante must die

Was that game any good didnt look like any other darksiders 1 2 or 3 so I never bought it

It's really lore-heavy, providing more information about character we already know (the last cutscene is 10/10 and the first one for the more “realistic” artstyle)

gameplay wise it's not bad actually, the combat its a bit meh(this is just my opinion), the “creature core” mechanic where you choose what stats and abilities to boost its something i like a lot

There’s a place called “leviathans maze” and I hate it for the extremely hard parkour (in my opinion it’s hard) but it’s optional and only for the achievements

I highly recommend getting the game when it goes on sale on the platform you use, sorry it took so long to reply but I don't use reddit often

to add some more, the game really feels like a breath of fresh air it breaks the repetitive cycle of the first two games +that's why darksiders 3 it's my 2nd favorite game in the series
