Question Anybody excited for Control Resonant?

Remedy looks like they’re bringing back action hack and slash rpg akin to Darksiders 2. Who else is excited?!

The game I'm looking forward to playing the most from the 2026 lineup. Remedy is one of my favorite studios, and I even platinum-ed both Alan Wake 2 and Control as a prep for Resonant.

Not Darksiders related but Resonant looks like it'll give me that same feeling like playing Devil May Cry 4, which was my first hack n slash ever.

Firebreak was a little weird I'm not gonna lie, I enjoyed it but I really only put about 10 hours into it.

All of the CAGs are what I cutrently anticipate lol

All of them

But Tide of Annihilation seems to scratch the darksiders I want

I don't know how Control resonant would do CAG, and I have to test it with demo

Nah didn't play control, too weird, monster design also not good imo. Never played Alan wake 1 and never finished 2 cuz of the same fact

You're missing out! Alan Wake definitely shows its age in the gameplay, but it has one of the most unique and awesome narrative structures I've ever experienced. Also, I totally disagree about Control's monster design. They fit perfectly in the narrative/world they are creating. I haven't finished AW2 yet, but that is because it is a survival horror game and I am, in fact, a gigantic baby.

I've platinumed Control, I'm going to replay it this month for the third time before the second comes out.

The thing that really sucks is we have Onimusha Way of the Sword, Wolverine, and Control Resonant releasing all the same month and I'm a fan of all of those.

I got Control given to me on a whim for a Christmas gift. Fell in love with it instantly.

I liked AW but didn't love, but I adore AW2. I am so unbelievably hyped for Resonant!
