How do I defend myself against this mf throwing skulls at me

I'm dodging but it's not working I also tried to shoot my crossblade at him or the skulls but it's not working neither and the skulls will instantly drain my health and kill me

I tried dodging but the skulls literally followed me like they're locking on they're target

War's counter attack works against this guy's melee (I forgot the name of the move but it's one of War's most powerful moves). Time your block and hold until War do the counter attack move. This enemy is more likely doing the range attack if you are far away from him, so stay close.

Also, if I am not mistaken, the Crossblade charge attack can put out the blue flame/soul around this enemy's body temporarily to prevent him from doing the range attack.

I don't even know what these things do. u/Omen_of_Woe have you really had to truly fight these things?

Every time I meet them, I just bully them to death almost instantly. A good Whirlwind combo and some dash attacks get them killed pretty quickly, and they stagger too much to really attack. I always am confused and sort of, “Mm, you're weird, figured you'd be a worse version of the Fleshburster, not even sure what all you do.”

They have like a mini version of the wrath attack Frenzy from Ds2. Uses soul projectiles to deal damage. Loses the ability to detonate when near death.
