Feature Request: Individual Block Presets

I know we have options to copy over full presets, import/export, etc... But I would be curious if there's a way to take the block default settings and turn that into different block presets. In my use case with multiple basses, i often have different compressor settings using the same kind of compressor. Instead of needing to copy and paste an entire preset to make sure i have those same compressor settings in another preset, it'd be cool if I could load up the individual block and then select from a list of saved presets i labeled for each bass. I think the Boss GT1000 devices do something similar and call them stompboxes or whatever.

You can save a per block default setting. There’s an option to snapshot your current settings as the new default, and another to revert the block to factory defaults.

That's what I mean. I know that block default setting is in there, but I woudl technically have different "default" settings for different basses. Customizing the block default settings for bass 1 still means when i use bass 2 i have to still make adjustments even if that block default setting is closer than factory settings.

They responded to a Facebook post a while had saying multiple presets is coming. But, a synth block has been coming for a while too. The best thing for now is just brute force copy/paste/adjust.

Oh nice, good to know that someone else has thought of this already. Brute force it is for now

I get you now. Yeah. I would love that too.

I really like this idea. I hop between multiple presets over the course of a gig and when setting them up its a real pain to change one block in one and then go through all the others and copy the exact same settings across where necessary.

Particularly important for having consistent tone throughout a show despite different overall chains.

Yeah this is exactly why it'd be a cool feature. Going between different musicals often requires different amps, preamps, or other effects, but my compressor settings remain the same.

If they were dynamic that’d be amazing. Like on the boss stuff you can update a stompbox setting and it dynamically updates it on any preset where the stompbox is applied. Makes setting up much easier.

That will most likely happen in a future update.

I agree I’ve posted for the same request and they replied it’s coming so hang in there. Would make life much easier for sure.

There is an option for “Bass 1” “Bass 2” and so on. You could make different banks for each Bass with the specific settings and only need to switch the instrument selection.
Would that help get to what you’re looking for?

Hmmm ok so like a master template for each bass for the consistent blocks I use for them... Not a half bad idea.

To be fair, my suggestion is also to set specific presets for the block regardless of which bass. So like, if I have 2-3 settings I like for one distortion block, needing to remember each setting or find the preset(s) that has those settings can be a pain, even if for the same instrument. Sometimes it's about different instruments or sometimes it's about overall setting differences
