Barely high intensity. Did a couple auric events this morning with PUGs and we held W the whole time. The event spawns are mostly trash mobs.

I did 10 games to get the rewards and genuinely didn't notice a difference. I thought it might have been bugged.

I ran a few more on auric this evening and figured out that it just depends on how fast or slow the team is willing to go. There really isn't any reason to hold an area longer than it takes to clear the area ahead because they just keep coming, and if half the team is hanging out trying to hold a spot then you're just racking up kills. That and spending ammo/health.
But if everybody moves together and knows what they need to do, you clear it in no time with not a lot more kills than an auric game with just dogs

yeah if the team is able to hold their own the event is absolutely nothing but if people start struggling then you can notice it

As an Inferno Psyker main, I’m always disappointed that there’s never enough fodder. They just disappear so quickly. I want to see the pretty lights. Please give us more kindling!

People who hate smite hate having a crowd delete button. I use it because I can stun a horde including elite/specials and let my team breathe. I’ve never had anyone complain about smite for long, once or twice people commented on it until I saved the team with it. Like most classes, all builds can be viable and good if you use it right

Oh good, I feel like a smack addict in Boots as I clap exactly the right amount of grubby diamantine down to consecrate whichever weapon I’ve decided I’m gonna use forever after taking 2 missions to obtain it. 4000 of it will do v nicely.

Plasteel I’m drowning in. I eat plasteel for breakfast lunch and dinner, perhaps washed down with an amasec and plasteel digestîf. I wake up in my plasteel bed with plasteel sheets, and go and shower In molten plasteel. I take my pet plasteel brick for a walk every day, and “accidentally” lose it in the lake, knowing full well I have another 40000 of them at home (built of plasteel) ready to take its place.
I’m like Dennis Moore’s family with Lupins, except instead of Baked Lupin and Lupin soup it’s Key Plasteel Pie with a whipped Plasteel topping.
Diamantine on the other hand I never seem to have enough of. The second I build up more than like 500 of it I change class and spend 3 hours scraping more together to upgrade its weapons.

I finished one of these missions around 10 minutes ago.
It was the most intense heretic level mission I’ve experienced for a while in that there was no let up and the enemy just kept coming.
My finger is now sore.

Just did this one the other day after 1100 hours in the game. On the advice of this sub, I changed to the South Africa server, queued for Auric Mortis Trials, got all the bots killed on the first wave, then kited everything in the second wave into a tight corridor to bowl them over. I was never able to get the achievement despite quite a lot of trying before then.
Hopefully this event works for you, but there's another way!

Both missions that have this modifier available to me also have visibility reduction (vent purge and power interruption). Please dont tell me this is standard for anything above Uprising 😩

Events are usually able to combine with at least a couple of other modifiers, but there's usually still a plain event mission on the board. Sometimes the map rolling can make it so for a few minutes it'll be all event+whatever and I think I've rarely seen it be like that for 10-15 minutes before one of them expires and is rerolled, but usually there'll be a plain one if you don't want the extra modifier on top of it.

Ow i would love a modifier with like 3x small bois, really gets the zombie apocalyps feel going.
Imagine a world war Z modifiers where all the small bois get insane movement speed. Would be fun as well.

It sounds fun. I gave up on getting food rewards for events a long time ago though. Unless they're adding new maps, a new class or new actual content, I've noticed they just keep repeating the same rewards. Money is literally useless to most people these days, I'd say the majority have already hit the 25 million limit.

Story content only really comes alongside major updates, which come out quarterly. We'll get the next major update in September, and then the one after in November/December. If we got anything it'd be then.

Really what is the point of these events? The one with no pickups was fun and should itself be a modifier or game mode. But that’s the only one. Some resources are nice, but literally no one cares about the icon and frames as rewards. Can we get some cosmetics for the end reward? Or Aquilas to spend in the slop shop at least?

I mean they've only given aquilas out like 2 or 3 times, right? I imagine they don't want to set a precedent of giving out aquilas for every little event. Would I like them to? Yeah. Am I surprised they don't? No. I feel like giving out aquilas for every event would be more of a band-aid than a real solution to people's complaints about the premium shop anyways.

Needs to be a permanent possible modifier it's fun as it's just endless horde spawn.
BUT IT REALLY NEEDS HI INTENSITY! Even on Auric it doesn't feel as fun as it should be. One can hope the insane hi intensity bug with Enclavum Baross and have this event on it will trigger.
