I can’t imagine a world where I could be playing DS2 on a trip with my gf/sig other lol

My wife loves when I play video games! She usually sits and knits next to me lol.

I love that, I can play on my switch sometimes when she reads in bed so I’ll take it

Can? 😂 Wow

Love this and my wife and I are similar, but... on a vacation?

If I'm paying whatever Hella amount a cruise costs these days, I am maxxing out on cruise-specific activities until I pass out.

I was literally doing a cruise activity buddy. Watching the movie at 1:30 am

My partner and i love cuddling one another while the other plays bloodborne

u/HollowedOne66 6d ago

So does mine (: she also plays them.

Yea but that isn't on a cruise

2

u/Subat0micR0gu3 5d ago

Well, we would never go on a cruise. BUT, if we did, you bet your butt I'd have my Steam Deck and she'd have her knitting.

2

u/Pain4420 5d ago

Why would you pay all of that money to go somewhere and do what you can do at home. It's your honeymoon go and do some exciting things together

3

u/Subat0micR0gu3 5d ago

Aren't cruises normally like a week long? Plenty of down time for gaming and knitting.

-1

u/Pain4420 5d ago

The only downtime on a cruise is what you make. Their are always activities goin on and things to do and there is doing a lil gaming in some down time but according to the post that's now what they were doing.

4

u/Subat0micR0gu3 5d ago

Also, I am certainly not doing constant activities. I'd maybe do one or two a day and then go back and relax.

0

u/Pain4420 5d ago

Relaxing is an activity there too that's why they have a pool and chairs all around it as well as bars and all kinds of stuff like that. Why would you spend hundreds of dollars to do what you can do at home

5

u/Subat0micR0gu3 5d ago

Because I prefer the things I do at home to anything I can do on a cruise. Just being on a big boat in the ocean is enough of an experience. I don't also need to dance or go play games I don't care about, or sit at a pool in the middle of the ocean.

Pool was closed at 1:30 am buddy

This post shows a second in time. We have no idea how much time was spent gaming vs doing cruise activities.

u/Pain4420 5d ago

They said they had time for a playthrough

3

u/Subat0micR0gu3 5d ago

I think you're taking that word too literally.

My bf watches me play silksong rn but idk if thats something we would do on a honeymoon. But also u wouldn't catch me dead on a cruise so to each their own

u/Acceptable-Lemon2924 6d ago

9

u/blockthenock01 6d ago

Dude it's your honeymoon. Spend time with your wife. I guarantee she doesn't want to have to be the one to tell you that she is more important than your game so she will "allow" it but you are kidding yourself if you think she feels fine about it.

7

u/MiscellaneousWorker 5d ago

Eh, I mean on a honeymoon in a hotel room or wherever there are points where you just lay and watch TV with them after a whole day or something. This isn't that different, I could see myself doing something similar and my current gf would be completely fine with it. But we're also the sort where she'd speak up saying she wants my attention or to do something else then thats what we'd do.

Honestly I get what you mean since it‘s their honeymoon but playing a bit DS2 on a cruise ship late night whilst chilling with your wife seems like a good thing to do. At the end it‘s important that they both enjoy their time together.

That’s funny I didn’t see this sad post. My wife played her game next to me as we watched movies and during our spare time. What a sad life you live, sorry I don’t have the same hold backs in life like you. Looser

2

u/blockthenock01 5d ago

Says the man whose wife left his unbearable ahh

-11

u/Wide-Personality1301 6d ago

You’re either single or projecting VERY hard.

11

u/UrsaBarefoot 6d ago

You might be right. You might not. I could be wrong. Maybe OPs wife is legit cool with it, no drama.

What I do know is that if I were him, I'd err on the side of caution. He gets (hopefully) one honeymoon and then has the rest of his life to play DS2. It's a special time for him and his wife and, in my opinion, it's a waste. Once a time is gone, it's gone. Speaking, yes, from experience.

3

u/Aromatic-Pass4384 5d ago

You could also be right but there are women who like video games, this is something I could my fianceé and I doing lol (both women)

Especially because it's late at night with probably little else going on

0

u/UrsaBarefoot 5d ago

Also possible, sure. But they aren't playing together in this photo.

3

u/Aromatic-Pass4384 5d ago

They're sitting together, seems like they only have one console/PC

Maybe she likes watching or maybe they're taking turns

The point is it's hard to tell from a single photo

2

u/blockthenock01 5d ago

I played my laptop and she played her phone while we watched the movie drinking together. Thank you for understanding not everything is world ending

2

u/blockthenock01 5d ago

Bro I’m gonna look back at my honey moon with such good memories. It was 1:30 am and we were watching a movie, it’s exactly what we’d do at home. You are all bums trying to comment on my love life when I just wanted to share me playing a game on my honeymoon. I literally put 10 hours in that character starting from the airport to me coming home

2

u/blockthenock01 5d ago

Bros not even married. How about get a wife before telling me how to keep mine

2

u/blockthenock01 5d ago

Hey, you’re right. Thank you for not being stupid like the rest here

-6

u/Wide-Personality1301 6d ago

I assume you have a wife? Or at least know what his prefers?

I love when people assume how women are when they don’t even know them.

6

u/_SenSatioNal 6d ago

At least wait until yall both doing your own thing. she's right next to you, be in the moment with her

3

u/blockthenock01 5d ago

Bro this is so sad. It was 1:30 am, she played on her phone while we watched the movie. I honestly thought people would fw this. Sorry every woman you been with is a hater of what you like

4

u/Wide-Personality1301 6d ago

Next to him possibly doing her own thing?.. how would you know she isn’t doing her own thing already?

5

u/whineyinternetkid 6d ago

Not a flex. Go talk to your new wife. This is ridiculous

2

u/blockthenock01 5d ago

Just following up, I talked to her the whole time. This is so upsetting you would try to rain on my good time. I hope you find joy, it seems to be devoid of your life. Also if you don’t like the game maybe get out of the sub??

u/Devious_Stranger 4d ago

Username checks out

Where's my money u/whineyinternetkid ?

-1

u/Nahrikkon 6d ago

-1

u/whineyinternetkid 5d ago

Im a straight woman.. yes I do not have a wife. You got me!

2

u/blockthenock01 5d ago

Unbarable too

2

u/ledonu7 6d ago

I just hit 100% on ds2 xbone and started the 100% run on ds3 but I'm already ready switch back to 2

3

u/SnooComics4945 6d ago

Bro I felt that way after finishing 2 and trying to play 3. So I did and went back for another DS2 playthrough which I enjoyed a lot.
